Description

Completes civil and labour tasks as per the direction of Pipe Layers, Site Foremen and Superintendents

Reports to:

Site Foremen and Superintendents

Common Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform labor tasks on site
  • Consistently leads by direction and example, the company values, Mission and Vision
  • Completed JHA’s as required and turn into Foremen and / or Superintendents on a daily basis
  • Complete their tasks in a safe manner following the company procedures and protocols
  • Follows new safety and task-specific protocols as they are introduced
  • Completes work as per the technical aspects and details
  • Clarifies details with the pipe layer, site foremen, or superintendent as necessary
  • Accurately completes their daily time-card and submits to the site Foremen or the Superintendent at the end of each shift
  • Ensure the proper use of all necessary PPE for each task completed

Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Complete equipment related tasks as per the specifications and direction from the Foremen and Superintendent. Complete these tasks in a safe and efficient manner to avoid injury to themselves or others or damage to the equipment or other property.

Reports to:

Foremen and Superintendent

Common Roles and Responsibilities

  • Consistently promotes by direction and example, the company values, Mission and Vision
  • Informs the Foremen and / or Superintendent of resource requirements well in advance
  • Provides guidance to their crew(s) based on their extensive experience
  • Ensures all JHA’s are complete as required and turned into the Foremen and / or Superintendent
  • Completes their daily equipment log and safety checks on each unit operated
  • Report any equipment deficiencies to the Director of Planning and Logistics as they encounter them
  • Responsible for the safety of the crews they are directly working with
  • Follow new safety and task-specific protocols as they are implemented
  • Clean the equipment as necessary
  • Park the equipment in a safe manner when not in use

Job Description

Ensures tasks are completed as per the technical specifications and the direction of the Superintendent. Oversees, at times, multiple crews on site.

Reports to:

Superintendent

  • In most instances is the first to site and last to leave
  • Ensures their crews are completing their tasks safely and efficiently
  • Ensures the necessary man-power, equipment, and materials are available for current and future needs at each site
  • Informs the Superintendent of resource requirements well in advance
  • Coordinates on-site employee and equipment for efficient task completion
  • Inspires, mentors and coaches their crew(s) based on personal understanding of each employees goals and objectives
  • Provides task-specific training on site to their crews as required
  • Oversees crew performance, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provides guidance to their crew(s) based on their extensive experience
  • Interacts effectively with client/GC, engineers, quality assurers, inspectors, etc.

Superintendent

Description

Oversees all phases of construction from the initial planning to the completion of a project. Ensures projects are completed on time and on budget. Oversees, at times, multiple foremen at multiple jobsites.

Director of Operations

  • Takes over Foreman role on the jobsite when a Foreman is not required or unavailable

  • Ensures the necessary testing and quality controls are met and recorded
  • Coordinates on-site employee and equipment for efficient work completion
  • Coordinates with the Project Manager effectively
  • Inspires, mentors and coaches Foremen based on personal understanding of each Foreman’s goals and objectives
  • Provides task-specific training on site to all employees as required
  • Oversees, and adjusts as necessary, crew performance, effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provides guidance to all employees based on their extensive experience
